Please Pray for this Special Need on Mindanao

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ;
Life has been challenging for our Brothers & Sisters on Mindanao these past 2 years. COVID lockdowns, major earthquakes, and typhoons that flooded crops and washed out roads have not been able to stop the spread of the Gospel among the tribal people. God has been faithful through it all as churches were rebuilt and new churches planted as our Bible School students continue to reach new areas with the Gospel. Now we face a wonderful challenge at a time when our financial resources are at their lowest. Our congregation in Tagum has outgrown the little church where they have been meeting so we have been working with them to build a bigger building around the smaller one. Little by little the land has been built up so it is no longer in danger of flooding, walls have gone up, the cement for the floor has been poured, and now the doors and windows have been put into place along with supports for the roof. All of this was accomplished while helping village churches to repair earthquake damage, helping pastors with medical bills, and providing down payments and/ or making up for missed payments for motorcycles for pastors covering multiple churches and ministry teams taking the Gospel into new areas.

Because of the economic slowdown in America, the US dollar is losing it’s value against foreign currencies including the Philippine peso. The church in Tagum is finished except for the roof. It is going to cost $2,000 to put the roof on so church services can be held even in the rain. The new building is already in use but only when it is not raining. After months of being unable to hold church services in the lowlands because of COVID lockdowns, we do not want to cancel them because of rainy weather. Will you pray with us for this need to be met?
