Prayer Request

Please be praying for some dear friends of ours on Mindanao, Tony & Mary Asang. They are the parents of our Philippines Director and a vital part of our leadership team. As the oldest son of the Head Chieftain, Tony had the right to become the head of his tribe when his father died but he gave up that right in order to be free to preach the Gospel to his people who were trapped in paganism because they had never heard of Jesus Christ. He is the one who has taken on the responsibility of discipling the 300 chieftains who came to Christ in 2004. Both Tony and his wife Mary are suffering physically. Both of them are having difficulty breathing and are dealing with other physical challenges. The doctors are recommending further tests but there is no money for tests or for medicine. We believe God wants to touch them both with His healing hand. Please join us in praying for Tony & Mary Asang that God will restore them to complete health that they may serve Him for many more years, reaching key people and discipling them until all the mountain tribal people on Mindanao have a chance to hear and to receive Jesus Christ as Lord.
